Love on the Run is the story of Ginny's escape from the abuse in her past. Ginny is very strong and she trusts her Lord. She has enough money to get to Fire Beach where she finds a job and a place to stay in this town of practicing Christians. (Don't get the wrong idea. The book is not preachy. It is just that Ginny finds the strength she needs because she trusts God.) The book is novella length, but the characters and plot are well developed. I just sat down and read straight through because I could not put it down..

This was a perfect short read at bedtime. It was my first introduction to this author and I enjoyed her style and the characters in the story. I will be checking out the other, full books in the series.

LOVE ON THE RUN is another wonderful story by Lorana Hoopes so get ready for a great read.

Ginny Darling is running from an abusive relationship and goes as far away as her money will take her, Fire Beach, where we meet old friends from the series.

She luckily ran into Tia when she got off the bus. Tia takes her to Fire Dreams restaurant where she is given a job and food. When danger arrives she is taken under the wing of Graham who runs the restaurant with his brother, Police Detective Jordan. I loved the fact that even though Jordan is his usual suspicious self he opens his soft and caring heart to this stranger. Graham is struck by Ginny and wants to know her better. This was a short but interesting adventure story that brings us together with old friends and we get to see where their future has taken them. If you haven't read the series, The Men of Fire Beach please add it to your to be read list and start with this one. All of the books can be read as stand alone stories but you won't want to quit until you have read them all.
