Lorana Hoopes is an author originally from Texas who now lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and three children. Lorana had always wanted to be a writer, but it wasn’t until she was inspired by the pro-life movement that her ideas came into fruition. Her Heartbeats series are romances that have a pro-life theme. Around the time she was working on these, her oldest son began reading. She wanted to write books that would help him learn and still be interesting, so she created The Wishing Stone series using her son as her main character. These books are geared for children ages 5-10 who are learning to read or struggling readers. Then Lorana created a small-town romance series in the fictional town of Star Lake. Then, she joined several other authors in the Lawkeepers authors and added historical fiction to her lists. In addition, she has football romances and her Men of Fire Beach series is romantic suspense.
And now she has joined the ranks of best-selling authors on USA Today’s Top 150, appearing at #37!
