Gwen Rodgers isn't wealthy and she doesn't like strangers, but when her friend Carrie asks her to attend a masquerade ball in her place, she reluctantly agrees. There she meets a handsome man who piques her interest, but when she finds out that man is billionaire Drew Devonshire, she knows a relationship could never work. However, when Drew comes looking for her, she is forced to decide whether she should tell him the truth and risk losing him or continue the charade.

I really enjoyed The Billionaire's Christmas Miracle. This is a short, sweet, Christian, Cinderella romance but Gwen loses a tennis bracelet rather than a shoe. The mean characters are Drew's mother and friend rather than Gwen's family. I loved Gwen and Drew. I liked Gwen's best friend as well. The characters were complex and realistic. I loved this story of accepting people for who they are not what they have or their social position. Gwen stuck to her beliefs and encouraged Drew to know God. This is a wonderful story for Christmas.

This is the first time I've read a book by this author but it won't be the last. If you like clean, no bad language and well written story lines, you will enjoy this book. This book was full of betrayal, and class snobbery. But it was also full of hope, love and forgiveness. I enjoyed reading it and hope others do as well.

Gwen masquerades as her friend, Callie, so the Callie can do something else -- she meets a mysterious man -- then is enjoying the party when she sees someone and jumps up and quickly leaves. Drew has to find her and the story starts with a bang. It is full of surprises, accidents, and intrigue. It will keep you reading one or two more pages and then you will suddenly be at the end. Like a lot of Lorana Hoopes' books I would love a sequel to this telling the next portion of their life.
