The book follows several people from the Rapture (where those saved are suddenly taken from the earth) through the beginning of the Tribulation. Some of the people involved know what happened, having heard about it as they attended church. Some of the people don’t believe what has happened. Some of the people find themselves left behind by spouses and begin to think about what their past life had been. The people find themselves together in a group meeting at a church and preparing for the time they know will come. They are trying to avoid the “Mark of the Beast” and still live their lives. The story of how the tribulation begins reminds me of the current situation in the world. There are some similarities but it is also different from what is going on in the world. But it does make you stop to think what could happen if you remain behind after the Rapture.

An amazing read about the end time and what could potentially happen. While it is Christian Speculative, some of it lines up with the Bible and other parts show just why Lorana Hoopes' is a talented writer. This book is so relevant to the time we are living in. The author has done her research and has written an interesting and informative book. It is book 3 of a series (all are good) but can be read as a stand alone. I highly recommend this!

Wow! I read this story from beginning to end in one sitting. I had to stayed up all night to finished. Just not a book to stop in the middle of. It started where Kat disappeared and Raven took up the gauntlet to get the truth out. I was on the edge of my seat throughout. If you like clean, edge of your seat, suspenseful books, you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend the book, 'The Beginning of the End'. I received this book from the publisher.
