It wasn't the Christmas I planned, but was it the one I needed?

Okay, so I can be a little ditzy at times, but that doesn't change the truth of what I saw. Someone is out to get me and they're making it impossible to accomplish my normal Christmas routine. See, I love Christmas and snow and everything December, so when I got invited to the town of Rudolph to review the new lodge, I couldn't be happier. And it was going great until I witnessed a murder.

Then the phone calls started, so I didn't the only thing I could think of - I hired a body guard. Unfortunately, he's rude and uptight and I should never have kissed him because now I can't get that kiss out of my head. it's got to just be the lure of Christmas, right?

Is this dare the dumbest thing I’ve ever done?

I’ve been in a funk lately, but you would be too if your fiancé had just dumped you. So, I’m not surprised when my best friends drag me out to dinner. I smell an intervention coming on. However, I am not prepared for their idea to get me out of said funk.

They want me to use a magic eight ball to make all my decisions until Valentine’s Day. And they’ve dared me. It’s dumb, but we all made a pact in high school not to turn down a dare. Still, this seems a little much. And it gets worse when I realize the promotion I’m up for requires me to work with the stiffest guy at work - Derek. This is going to be a disaster.

What’s worse is that somewhere between multiple trips to the ER, broken elevators, and dance lessons, I think I might be falling for Derek. We couldn’t actually work, could we?

Love is not supposed to be this hard. Is it?

I thought I had found my soulmate, but then Ian went MIA on me. To add insult to injury, that promotion I had my heart set on didn't materialize. Cue my confidence nosediving into the abyss

.

Enter stage left, my buddy Patrick, with a plan to shake things up and get me trying new stuff. Except the more we hang out, the weirder things get. Could it be possible that I'm starting to feel more than just friendly vibes for him? Nah, that's just crazy talk... or is it?

Her new boss is impossible to work with, but could there be more to him?

Charlie loves being a personal trainer, but her new boss Zane is trying her last nerve. If she can't find a way to work with him, she might have to find a new job.

Zane knows his employees think he's a nightmare, but they don't have to like him. Of course, if they knew the reason for his behavior, they might like him more. But can he really share that side of him again?
