It is really nice to pick up a romantic suspense book that not only entertains the reader but does not contain anything that is graphic or offensive. Ms. Lorana Hoopes is a well-known author that writes Christian fiction. In her newest book, Lost Memories and New Beginnings, Ms. Hoopes has created another exciting and clean romantic suspense novel. The book starts with a scene that grabs readers’ interest and continues to take them on an exciting realistic adventure. Readers become so captivated by the story line that they become bystanders watching everything as it actually happens. This book has everything readers of this genre come to expect: danger, intrigue and romance. Since this is a medical romantic suspense novel, you also get: handsome doctors, cranky nurses, protective security guards and a Jane Doe with amnesia. Lastly, because this is a Lorana Hoopes book, you get a well written book that has Christian faith interwoven throughout it. I really enjoyed the book and recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good romantic suspense novel.

This was an exciting story. The plot was not overly complex, but didn't need to be, & did a great job of keeping me eagerly reading to find out what was going to happen next.

5 stars! I don't usually read suspense so Lost Memories and New Beginnings was a new experience for me. All the way through chapter one I kept thinking I had already missed something because I couldn't figure out who the woman was. I realized further into the book that the way chapter one was written was the hook that kept me reading on the edge of my seat. I honestly enjoyed the suspense and there was enough romance and a HEA that satisfied my romantic heart. I definitely recommend this book for anyone that likes to read clean suspense and romance.
