In Lorana Hoopes newest book, Fire Games, we follow the life of one the contestants, Cassidy Marcel, who appeared on the hit reality show “Who Wants To Marry A Cowboy”. The book is more than the standard romance book. The story well written and the characters are well developed. Since Cassidy is a firefighter, her days are full of danger and excitement. Adding missing children and a stalker to the story gives you a book full of danger and suspense. Don’t forget the romance that blossoms between two people who barely like each other. This is a book is one of the best Christian fiction books that I have read. Since this is a Lorana Hoopes book, you have an excellent story with a HEA ending

Cassidy loves working for the Fire Department, putting out fires and saving lives. But, she’s so very lonely. When the opportunity to be on a dating reality show appears, she decided to take the chance to find love. Jordan’s a Police Detective working on a kidnapping case with three young children missing. It’s when Cassidy realizes she has a stalker that she meets Jordan. Can Jordan find her stalker while looking for the missing children? Will they both be able to leave their pasts behind in order to take a chance on love again? This is a story full of suspense, mystery and clean romance!

I like reading about firefighters as well as police officers and this story had both. The story was somewhat different for Lorana Hoopes since there was more suspense and less romance, but I really enjoyed it, and had a hard time setting it aside. The story is a stand-alone and I'm definitely looking forward to other books in the series. I might be wrong but I don't think Lorana is through with the relationship between Cassidy and Jordan. There were also other characters in Fire Games that I'm anxious to learn more about. Keep up the good work Lorana!
